There was a season or ten where the Mets had trouble selling out Shea Stadium. We were tasked with selling tickets ahead of opening day, and we were given about $50,000 to do it.

The Mets were stacked with power hitters, so we placed cracked-windshield decals on cars in Shea Stadium's parking lot during home games. We included hand-written notes from the players apologizing for the damage.
